Disc Tumbler Locks

Disc tumbler locks are a type of lock that uses a series of flat discs, each with a notch cut out of the edge, to line up in order to open the lock. The discs, which can be made of metal or plastic, are stacked on a central post and can be moved by turning either a key or dial. When the notches line up, the lock is unlocked. Disc tumbler locks are commonly used in residential and commercial applications, including on doors and cabinets.
